Street offers standard hoisting solutions in capacities up to 150t. Special or tandem lifting solutions are available up to 200t.

Heavy lift cranes are used by a number of different industries, perhaps the most common application is in power stations and suppliers to the power industry. Power station cranes (also covered on a separate page) are generally low duty low speed but require very precise positioning.

Other industrial applications in the shipbuilding, steel industry, or suppliers to steel mills are heavier duty with faster hoisting speed requirements. However we would generally recommend a smaller capacity auxiliary hoist or express lift facility for heavy lift cranes to ensure faster cycle times for lighter loads. Many other industrial applications have heavy lift requirements, each should be carefully analysed to ensure an economic and appropriately engineered solution.

True vertical lift, frequency inverters and the swing prevention system are typically specified for precision lifting and additional safety.
