Pipes tubes and bars present a number of handling problems depending on the size and quantity in each lift and the required rates of handling. Many general warehousing operations use standard Street single and double girder cranes often with twin hoists. At the other extreme high turnover storage and retrieval operations may require automated stillage handling systems.
